Domenica 27 Novembre 2022, presso la Chiesa Cattedrale di San Gerardo in Potenza, verrà eseguito il “Requiem” in Re Minore (K626) dell’immenso compositore Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
L’evento, promosso dall’associazione Chorus Inside di Campania e Basilicata e dall’associazione musicale Santa Maria Maggiore, porterà alla luce una nuova esecuzione del capolavoro settecentesco, cercando di affrontare la partitura con la giusta dose di stupore e prassi filologica.
Il concerto sarà realizzato con il sostegno del MIC Ministero della Cultura e del Consiglio Regionale della Basilicata, creando un appuntamento di inaugurazione per tre grandi realtà artistiche: il primo coro Interregionale di Campania e Basilicata (diretti dai Mo. Benedetto Chianca e Rocco Alessio Corleto), la nuova programmazione della Chorus Inside lucana e campana per i cori dei territori e il battesimo dell’orchestra filarmonica “Experia”.
La messa da Requiem sarà eseguita alle ore 20.00 e vedrà i solisti Maria Palmitesta, Domenica Pennacchio, Salvatore Pascale e Daniele Bonacci, le voci del grande coro (ove trovano posto cantanti del territorio lucano e campano), tutti sotto la direzione del maestro Rocco Eletto.
Il lavoro verrà dedicato alle vittime del covid e a tutti i giovani lucani nel mondo che hanno perso la vita a causa di malattie infettive o tumorali.
